MIDWEEK WORSHIP
Make room for prayer and reflection during the week.
A midweek point of connection
The Wednesday Mercy Day service is part of the station’s regular worship schedule. It gives members and visitors a midweek opportunity to follow the Community’s prayer and worship rather than waiting until Sunday. People joining after work, away from a parish or alongside family at home can take part through the live broadcast.
The current regular guide lists Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in Central Time, Chicago. Use the dated TV Guide to check the next service. The scheduled time is a plan; the service and its internet connection determine when the broadcast begins and ends.
Prepare a prayer request thoughtfully
Before joining, take a moment to decide what you want to pray about. You can write a few words for yourself without posting them anywhere. If you ask the team for prayer, describe the need clearly and avoid unnecessary identifying details about another person.
The public chat can be read by other viewers. Use the prayer feature or a private contact route when the matter is personal. Read the information beside the form before choosing whether to share a request more widely. You can also contact the community if you need help finding the right route.
Follow the broadcast at your pace
Start with the available player and check its sound control. A phone, computer or browser player provides video; the radio offers sound when your connection or circumstances make video difficult. Headphones can help when other people in the household need quiet.
You can listen without sending a message or signing in. If you arrive after the service has begun, follow what is currently playing and return to a published recording later where available. A replay label indicates recorded content rather than a live Wednesday service.
Carry reflection into the rest of the week
After worship, note what you want to remember and any practical step you want to take. If a Bible passage was read, return to it in context rather than relying only on a sentence from the broadcast. A question about the teaching is a good reason to contact a minister or discuss it in local fellowship.
For a follow-up message, tell the team which service you watched and how you would like to be contacted. Spiritual support through the station is voluntary. Worship and prayer are free, and a gift is never a condition of asking for prayer.
