Cookies and browser storage are small pieces of data a website keeps in your browser. This page lists the ones cccworldwide.net uses and how to control them. For everything else about your information, see our Privacy Policy.
Needed for the site to work
- Sign-in cookies. Set only if you sign in with your CCC Worldwide Community account. They keep you signed in.
- Prayer Wall choice (
ccc_pshare). Lasts about one minute while a prayer request is being sent. It remembers whether you ticked the box to share the request on the Prayer Wall.
Stored in your browser to remember your choices
- Chat name and chat session (
ccw_chat_name,ccw_chat_session_id). Saves you retyping your name. - Viewer count session (
ccw_analytics_session_id). A random code used to count viewers. It is not linked to your name. - Sermon notes and settings. Your notes, language choice, caption translation choice, and whether you have already seen the help tips.
These items stay on your device. They are only sent to us when needed, for example the chat name when you post a message.
Set by other services
- Google tag (for example
_gcl_au). Measures whether our nonprofit Google Ad Grants ads lead people to our services. - YouTube. Embedded YouTube players may set cookies when you play a video.
- Grace (LULI) assistant. The chat window may store a conversation code so your chat continues if you move to another page.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you do, everything still plays, but you may need to type your chat name again, and signed-in features will sign you out.
